I’m please to say that I have finally completed all of the issue art for ORCS! The Curse. That’s 200 pages written, laid out, inked, and colored since March. In addition to painting four issue covers. It was a lot of work in a short time. Unfortunately, it kept me away from posting issue previews like I did for Volume 1.

So, for the uninitiated, and everyone else wondering What the heck is ORCS!? I wanted to do a post with all if the issue summaries and a small preview.

About a year ago, I contributed to an art book on kickstarter called Then & Now. The editors picked a number of illustrators and asked us to find old drawings from childhood to redraw now that we are professionals.

As with last year, I went to my high school sketch book (I was approximately 15 or 16 when I had this one) and plucked out two random character pages.

To aid my coloring process, I often use two ink colors and separate them digitally to save me time when it comes to coloring in the line art for arial perspective or character details. I am creating this post to help anyone else looking to speed along their own coloring process.
